Gunfire and a fire erupted at an occupied home while family members, including children, were inside, authorities announced.
A suspect opened fire on a residence and then set part of it ablaze on Hoke Lane, Lower Swatara Township Police said about the incident on Saturday, April 4.
Officers were dispatched to multiple reports of shots fired and a structure fire around 5:10 p.m., according to police.
When police arrived, a neighbor had already extinguished the flames using a fire extinguisher, and the suspect had fled the area.
