At 11:50 a.m., troopers responded to the speedway in Wall Township after a race car attempting to make a left turn lost directional control and struck a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn and strike a pedestrian, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
