A 20-year-old man is facing felony charges after police said he threatened another person with two large knives in a busy area of Sullivan County.
Swan Lake resident William Patterson, 20, was arrested on Friday, June 5, in connection with an incident in Liberty earlier in the day in the area of North Main Street and School Street, the Village of Liberty Police Department announced on Monday, June 8.

A police officer was killed while responding to an emergency call Friday, May 29, after her patrol vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
