Another Arrest Made In Deadly NJ Hit-Run After Drugs Found In U-Haul: Prosecutor
A search of the Acura and U-Haul trailer involved in a deadly hit-and-run on Route 17 in Paramus turned up hundreds of THC cartridges, leading to a second arrest and new drug charges against the driver accused of killing a Bronx woman, authorities said.
Michael C. Marciano, 47, of Fairport (Monroe County), NY, who was driving a Jeep in tandem with the Acura at the time of the crash, owned the Acura and had rented the U-Haul trailer, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

A Virginia man is facing a lifetime in prison after he and a second suspect violently robbed a food delivery driver of his shoes and vehicle.
Then, police swiftly caught up with them.
According to federal prosecutors, Jayveon Christopher McCloud and Takaree Alexander Fields, 22, of North Carolina, were both masked and armed with handguns when they confronted a food delivery driver in Newport News on Oct. 22, 2025.
The two pointed their weapons at the driver and ordered him to drop everything, empty his pockets, and take off his shoes.
